I’ve helped thousands of managers improve their skills and cultivate strong healthy teams. Between art school and business school, being an entrepreneur and a mom, I’ve learned that how you work with people is just as important as what you accomplish together.
In 2014 I had an 'ah ha!' moment. Too many of us were wasting our days away in unproductive meetings. It didn't matter what type of organization you worked in or where you sat in the hierarchy. Everyone I spoke to had a story (a complaint, really) about a terrible meeting they had to sit through that week.
Meetings aren't just an occasional pain point. They are one of the biggest problems businesses face each day! This launched me down a path of becoming a meeting expert. In 2017, I published my first book Momentum: Creating Effective, Engaging, and Enjoyable Meetings.
In 2018 I launched The Modern Manager podcast, a go-to resource for team leaders. I'm dedicated to helping managers engage their team—in and out of meetings—so that everyone can optimize their time and contribute to the team's success, all while feeling valued in who they are and what they do.
